  • Patent number: 11441363
Abstract: Systems and methods for installing and removing a downhole electric tool in a well, independent of an upper completion in the well. A connector on the interior of a tubular structure (e.g., production tubing or casing) serves as an electrical socket for the tool. This connector is coupled to electrical cables which run from the connector to the surface. The tool, which is raised and lowered on a wireline, slick line or coiled tubing, is plugged into this connector so the tool can be pulled from the socket using the wireline/slick line/coiled tubing and removed from the well without having to remove the tubular structure or other parts of the completion. A replacement tool can then be lowered into the tubular structure and, when the tool lands on the connector, it engages the connector and couples the tool through the cabling to the surface equipment.

  • Publication number: 20200215376
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a light weight exercise apparatus includes a support including a portion of the lower arm of the user and a second part extending from the first part and having first and second portions. The center and holding portion further includes a grip portion attached to and extending across the width of the retaining portion to be gripped by the hand of the user. The invention is an exercise hand weight structure designed for extended-time type exercises having an elongate body member with a soft, resilient central hand portion, and a hand engaging member resiliently connected at each end of the body member, said hand engaging member extending outwardly transversely to the body member and then generally parallel thereto to pass around the back of the hand preferably between the knuckles and wrist of a user to hold the hand resiliently between the central hand portion of the body member and the hand engaging member.

  • Publication number: 20200047247
Abstract: A filter for filtering a liquid metal and to be received in a mold housing defined by internal side and face walls. The filter has a top wall and side walls extending downwardly from the top wall, the side walls being joined together at respective corners. The side walls extend downwardly towards distal end portions. The corners of the filter have a stiffness or rigidity that is higher that the remainder of the filter for increasing the strength of the overall filter and for helping the filter to maintain its shape and integrity throughout casting. The shape of the side walls allows an easy and consistent placement of the filter in the mold housing and ensures that the filter is maintained in place.

  • Patent number: 10019460
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method that can be used to synchronize files from a hosted file system where the client endpoint devices have direct access to the files stored on a hosted file store/system. When the client synchronizes with the files stored on the hosted file store the synchronization process identifies the files that need to be synchronized with the client and prepares batches of files to be synced. During the process of synchronization the files are not locked from other user's being able to use the files. If the file is modified by another endpoint during the file synchronization process the file will not be synchronized with the client device during the particular synchronization process. In this way synchronization becomes possible with the hosted service without impacting the performance of other devices that use and access the data in the hosted file store.
