    Abstract: An apparatus is provided in one example and includes a memory element configured to store data, a processor operable to execute instructions associated with the data, and a recording module configured to record video data associated with a display, and record individual data associated with one or more audience members witnessing the video data on the display. The video data and the individual data are recorded in a substantially concurrent manner, and the video data and the individual data are communicated over a network to a next destination. In a more particular embodiment, the apparatus includes a server configured to communicate programming instructions for recording the video data. A camera is configured to record the video data and the individual data based on the programming instructions, and the camera interfaces with an optical element that reflects at least a portion of the video data and the individual data.
