Abstract: Methods and systems for forecasting upcoming values of time series are disclosed. A method includes receiving a time series data associated with a task to be managed by a managing agent at a regular interval of time. The method includes extracting one or more calendar-based features from a time series database table. The time series database table is prepared from the received time series data. The method includes processing the one or more calendar-based features and the time series data to generate one or more machine learning features. The method further includes developing a neural network forecasting model based on the one or more machine learning features using a neural network application.
