Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for transferring rights, to release a secure print job from one user to another user. The rights to release the secure print job can be transferred based on a request from a primary user i.e., the user who submits the secure print job or based on a request from a secondary user i.e., the user who wants to release the secure print job on behalf of the primary user. Based on the request from any user, a multi-function device transfers rights to release the secure print job from the primary user to the secondary user. Here, transferring rights includes changing ownership of the secure print job from the primary user to the secondary user. Upon successful changing the ownership, the secondary user releases the secure print job originally submitted by the primary user.

Abstract: A document scanning device is disclosed. For example, the document scanning device includes a platen glass, an optical scanner located below the platen glass, a plurality of light arrays located around a perimeter of the platen glass, and a processor communicatively coupled to the optical scanner and the plurality of light arrays, wherein the processor is to control a portion of the plurality of light arrays to define an origin and an orientation of a document for a scan job and control the optical scanner to scan the document on the platen glass.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses methods and systems for keyword-based printing. The method includes receiving a request for printing a document from a user. Upon receiving the request, a user interface including a keyword-based printing option is provided to the user. The keyword-based printing option allows the user to input one or more keywords. Based on the one or more input keywords, one or more pages from the document having the one or more matching keywords are identified. The pages identified to include the one or more keywords are excluded and the remaining pages of the document are printed.

Abstract: A divider separates an enclosure into separate compartments that are shaped and sized to maintain sheets of media. A connector is positioned at a first end of the enclosure and the connector is shaped to connect to a document handler. The compartments are positioned to supply and receive the sheets of media to and from the document handler when the enclosure is connected to the document handler. A cover is positioned at the first end of the enclosure. The cover is adapted to open and close and allows access to the compartments. A lock is connected to the cover. The lock maintains the cover in a closed position when locked.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for handling a document including a combination of normal pages and secure pages. The method includes receiving a print job from a user including one or more pages tagged as secure pages and the remaining pages tagged as normal pages. Based on the tagging, the normal pages are printed automatically without requiring any authentication information from the user and the secure pages are printed upon receiving an authentication information from the user. Finally, based on user's input, the printed secure pages and the printed normal pages are rearranged to have a complete ordered printed document.

Then, physical impressions on the substrate can be detected in the image. The scanning and highlighting of the physical impressions can involve enhancing the image to digitally and electronically reproduce the physical impressions. This approach can be implemented in the context of a mobile scanning application that scans the physical impression(s) and highlights it, and saves the resulting image as an electronic document.

The method includes executing one or more already received print jobs listed in a print queue of a printer. Then, a new print job is received in the print queue of the printer. A message is displayed to the user with an option to re-order the new print job, via a user interface. Based on the user input, the new print job is re-ordered by moving the new print job to the top of the print queue of the printer. Finally, the new print job is printed first followed by printing the one or more already received print jobs.
