    Abstract: A modular environment modification device receives different cores for performing different functions such as dispensing decontaminant agents. These cores are contained within a housing that can communicate with other like devices and with remote devices such as iOS or Android powered smart devices. Communication between multiple like devices provides the ability to accommodate spaces of varying size. Sensors within each device monitor the environment, sense temperature and pressure, the presence of certain pathogens, and sound. Sensed information is used by the device to make decisions, like suspension of the decontamination process. Sensed information is sent to smart devices which perform various interfacing or data collection functions.

    Abstract: A bonding, communication and control BCC system that, via multiple digital and analog inputs and outputs provided by an on-the-go ready (OTG) microcontroller and a microcontroller combination, is capable of integrating the function of components required for a device to perform its tasks. Each BCC unit has the minimum amount of built in hardware required. First the BCC units bond, using multiple modes of identification and recognition technology. Second, the BCC units interconnect and exchange data via encrypted communication. Third, plug and play hardware can be added to the BCC unit. Each BCC unit can pair with a smart device, making possible full utilization of all of the hardware, software and existing infrastructure of the smart device, including its ability to send data to and from a remote server location.

The microcontroller controls the individual fluid flow regulators located between the interactive pixels. This causes specific flow regulators to open, allowing the fluid substance to flow from one interactive pixel to another, redistributing pressure, as needed.

The carrying case regulates to temperature presets that can be altered real time directly or remotely. A microprocessor-controlled double function solenoid acting as a valve and sensor, temperature sensors, and several mechanical one way release valves regulate the cooling system. Peripheral integrated modules collect, send, receive and display information on the case and on smart devices about location, core temperature, the carrier and the nature of the enclosed material. The carrying case provides a compact laser-etched sterile working area, in addition to a set of basic instruments, needed for procedures using the biological materials.
