  • Patent number: 7935040
Abstract: An apparatus having a handle device having a handle, and a base having a top surface and an opposing bottom surface. The apparatus may be used with an identical second apparatus by an individual for performing a push up exercise. The handle device may be connected to the base so that the handle device can rotate from a first state in which the handle is temporarily fixed at a position which is closer to the top surface of the base than the bottom surface of the base, to a second state in which the handle is temporarily fixed at a position which is closer to the bottom surface of the base than the top surface of the base. The handle device may include a C-shaped member having a first end and a second end, wherein the C-shaped member can rotate with respect to the base about an axis passing through the first end and the second end of the C-shaped member.
