  • Patent number: 4546751
Abstract: A method of preparing a mixture consists in successive performing of: atomization of fuel in a stream of exhaust gases, introduction during suction or an exchange of the load an incombustible fuel-combustion mixture to a separate storage space, compression--in a positive-displacement manner without mixing--of the mixture with the air inflowing to the storage space from the working space of the engine, forcing through of the compressed mixture into the combustion chamber before the top dead center of the piston completing the compression stroke, and in production of a combustible mixture by mixing with air compressed in the combustion chamber.

  • Patent number: 4131090
Abstract: This invention relates to a two-stroke, spark ignition, internal combustion engine, with two, three, four or six cylinders. Fuel injection is provided by means of combustion gases and no fuel pump is employed. The working spaces of the engine cylinders are interconnected by means of ducts in such a manner that during the working stroke a small amount of high pressure combustion gases enters the working space. After the duct port is uncovered by the piston the combustion gases are carried over on their way by a predetermined amount of fuel, thereby effecting the injection.

  • Patent number: 4033302
Abstract: A four-stroke multicylinder internal combustion engine having first and second cylinders in which combustion takes place in alternation in the cylinders at intervals of 360.degree. of crankshaft revolution. A duct connects the working spaces of the cylinders for flow of exhaust gases between the cylinders and a fuel line is connected to the duct for supplying fuel thereto so that the fuel is transported with the flow of exhaust gases from one cylinder to the other.
