  • Patent number: 11816002
Abstract: After a data backup unit connects to a mobile device, an App executed on the mobile device will create a user profile block in the memory unit of the data backup unit, help set up charging preferences and backup preferences in the profile block, and create a backup folder to store backup files from the mobile device. The App estimates a charging time required to charge the battery, a backup time required to complete the data backup and an available time interval, then the App sums up the charging time and the backup time to get a required time interval. Then, the App compares the required time interval and the available time interval to decide whether to perform both the backup task and the charging task or to perform just the charging task.

  • Patent number: 11755423
Abstract: A data protection method for protecting backup data stored in a data backup device is executed by a mobile device. When the mobile device is included in a trust circle of the data backup device, the mobile device can receive a certified signal, can execute a file manager of a backup APP for loading the backup data, and can generate a first invitation code. Otherwise, the mobile device cannot access the backup data, and displays a code input menu for inputting a second invitation code. The data backup device can certify the first invitation code and the second invitation code for determining whether the mobile device can be added into the trust circle of the data backup device. Therefore, the mobile device included in the trust circle can access the backup data, and the privacy of the backup data can be secured.

  • Publication number: 20220405175
Abstract: An App executed on a mobile device will create a user profile block in the memory unit of a charging unit, and help set up charging preferences and backup preferences in the profile block, and create a backup folder to store backup files from the mobile device. The App will monitor the charging of the mobile device. According to the backup preferences, the App performs a full backup task or a differential backup task for only local files, only cloud files or both; the App sets the data transmission speed between the charging unit and the mobile device; the App performs a full scan or a quick scan on the files in the mobile device and the files in the backup folder to determine between the mobile device and the backup folder whether the files are the same; and creates quick scan index data for the first time backup files.

  • Publication number: 20220407321
Abstract: A charging apparatus having a backup function includes a first connecting interface, a second connecting interface, a processing unit, a memory unit, and an authorizing unit. The first connecting interface is adapted to receive a power source. When the processing unit authorizes the first electronic device, the processing unit activates the backup function to back up data stored on a first electronic device connected to the second connecting interface into the memory unit. Hence, a user can use the charging apparatus to charge the first electronic device, and to back up the data stored on the first electronic device into the memory unit or to restore the data stored on the memory unit into the first electronic. The user of the first electronic device can effortlessly enjoy the data backup and restore functionality.

  • Patent number: 11350532
Abstract: A portable data storage device that has a main housing, a data storage module mounted in the main housing, a first protective swivel, and a second protective swivel. The data storage module has a first electrical connector and a second electrical connector. The first protective swivel is U-shaped and has two ends pivotally connected to the main housing. The second protective swivel is U-shaped and has two ends pivotally connected to the first protective swivel. The first protective swivel and the second protective swivel are not removed from the main housing before using the portable data storage device, thus preventing from being loss. The first protective swivel and the second protective swivel cover the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector respectively and protect the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector from being damaged.

  • Publication number: 20100139897
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprises at least one tube or plate pair defining a fluid flow passage which is reduced in height across a portion of its width. A turbulizer comprising a plurality of rows of convolutions is received inside the fluid flow passage in either the low pressure drop or high pressure drop orientation. The turbulizer includes convolutions of reduced height in order to at least partially fill the reduced-height portions of the fluid flow passage and thereby reduce bypass flow. In some preferred embodiments of the invention, heat exchanger tubes or plate pairs define fluid flow passages which are reduced in height along their edges, and the turbulizer is similarly reduced in height along its edges.

  • Publication number: 20070180916
Abstract: A method of making a capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducer cell is provided. The method includes providing a carrier substrate, where the carrier substrate comprises glass. The step of providing the glass substrate may include forming vias in the glass substrate. Further, the method includes providing a membrane such that at least one of the carrier substrate, or the membrane comprises support posts, where the support posts are configured to define a cavity depth. The method further includes bonding the membrane to the carrier substrate by using the support posts, where the carrier substrate, the membrane and the support posts define an acoustic cavity.
