Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for the provision and enabling of multi-language and sign language services in real-time are disclosed. System components include a call processing computer/server that receives requests and is in communication with other system components, a video server/computer for processing and relaying video images, user interface devices for making requests and receiving data transmitted between system components and service provider devices for responding to or satisfying requests received.

Abstract: A method and system for providing interpreting services is disclosed. The system includes interpreting apparatus at several user sites where interpreting services are needed, such as hospitals or other health care facilities, and a central controller. A request is made from one of the user sites to the central controller and, in response, the central controller makes a link between the user site and an interpreting site. A live interpreter at the interpreting site provides interpretation through the link. The link may be used for audio, or audio and video signals.

Abstract: A display assembly includes a screen adapted to display images and a support structure holding the screen and being adapted to selectively rotate the screen and to mount the screen, either temporarily or permanently, to a platform such as a table. The system further includes a case mounted on the support structure with electronic circuitry receiving and processing incoming electronic signals and sending corresponding signals to the screen for display. The screen can be rotated between an upright position in which the images are visible and a rest position in which the images are not visible.
