  • Patent number: 6892427
Abstract: A clip for retaining an accessory on an edge of an automobile member has a block element for location adjacent the edge of one side of the automobile member. The clip has a plug for engaging a hole in the accessory and extending into an aperture in the block element, and a jaw for engaging the block element and a second opposed side of the automobile member. The clip is secured to the automobile member's edge by inserting a fastener through the jaw and into the block element and tightening the fastener.
