  • Patent number: 4729535
Abstract: An assembly for supporting a cooking device, such as a barbecue, including a main platform and folding end platforms. The main platform is connected to a shaft which in turn is mounted to a conventional structure such as the rail of a boat by means of a mounting bracket. The support assembly which supports the cooking device thereon, is secured in a level manner above the ground or water. Repositioning of the main platform and end platforms relative to the mounting bracket is accompanied by slidably mounting the main platform to the support shaft. When it is desired to store the support assembly when not in use, the end platforms are folded inward to locations atop the main platform, the mounting bracket and shaft are moved inward toward the main platform, and the support assembly is stored inside the cooking device.

  • Patent number: 4711282
Abstract: A portable and collapsible stair which provides support platforms that are spaced laterally and vertically from one another at approximately a one-to-one slope, thus enabling a person to ascend or descend the stair in a more convenient walking motion. There are two inverted U-shaped cross members pivotally connected to one another at a pivot axis intermediate the ends of the legs of the two U-shaped members. An upper support platform extends between the upper ends of the two inverted U-shaped members. There are one or more additional support platforms extending horizontally from forwardly positioned lower leg portions of one of the U-shaped members.

  • Patent number: 4675029
Abstract: A pollutant removal/heat exchange apparatus is mounted to a wood burning stove to receive the emission products from the stove. The apparatus comprises a plurality of vertically aligned tubular electrodes which define vertical through passageways. Negatively charged disc-like electrodes are positioned within the tubular electrodes. Partially burned hydrocarbons and moisture in the emission products become negatively charged as they pass through the tubular electrodes to become deposited on the inner surfaces of the tubular electrodes. Ambient air is directed through the passageways between the tubular electrodes to extract heat from the emission products, with the heated air being discharged from the apparatus. The electrostatic precipitation of the material on the tubular electrodes not only removes undesired material from the emission products, but also enhances heat exchange with the ambient air passing through the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 3938776
Abstract: A readily assembled and readily stripped, reusable concrete form is constructed from a plurality of similar flat-faced panels having spaced, co-planar, open-ended edge-oriented slots in the margins of the other or opposite faces thereof; and a plurality of elongated L-shaped keys which are employed both to interlock the panels on each side of the form, and to interlock the form from side to side. The panels are arranged in two spaced, parallel, oppositely disposed, edge to edge, co-planar flat-faced arrays of the same; and are interlocked with one another in each array by placing a first set of the keys in the plane of the slots opposite points relatively within the margins of the panels, and slidably engaging the keys in the adjacent slots of adjacent panels.
