  • Patent number: 5184275
Abstract: A heel grounding device (10) is disclosed which is used in connection with electrically grounded conductive flooring which in one embodiment is secured to the shoe (12) of a human operator. A strap (24) is secured about the leg (11) of the operator with conductive material (29) touching the operator. Grounding lead (25) attaches by a fastener (27) from conductive material (29) to partially conductive material (20) which is secured to the heel (15) of the shoe (12) of the operator. A strap (23) is used to secure the device onto the shoe (12) of the operator. Metal rivets (31, 32, 33) are secured in and protrude from partially conductive erlement so as to maintain electrical contact with the conductive grounded flooring to overcome soil build up on partially conductive material (20) and thereby maintain electrical grounding of the operator.

  • Patent number: 4628580
Abstract: A method for using a carousel system is disclosed. The carousel bins are filled with selected parts in a stockroom, the carousels are stacked together such that each carousel closes the open top bins of the carousel therebelow, storing the group of carousels as work-in-process, moving the carousel system to an assembly station, separating the carousels at the assembly station to expose the parts in the bins, successively removing parts from the bins to produce assemblies; on completion of assemblies, to restack the carousels and return the carousel system to the stockroom for refilling. The carousel system is a plurality of carousels each having parts bins therein.

  • Patent number: 4549664
Abstract: Kitting parts carousel system (10) as a plurality of carousels (12, 14) each having parts bins (50) therein. Each of the carousels is made of static safe injection moldable synthetic polymer composition material with the bins having a sloping bottom to self-feed parts toward the outer wall (26) and the tops of the bin walls (42, 44) are configured to closely adjoin the bottom of the next above adjacent carousel so that when the carousels are stacked the bins in the lower carousels are closed.
