  • Publication number: 20180002841
Abstract: A shed forming device for a weaving machine, comprising a working space (3) in which shed forming systems having selection means for the positioning of warp threads are provided, and ventilation means (7) to create an air flow (A) in this working space (3), wherein the ventilation means (7) interact with regulating means (8, 9, 10) for automatically regulating the air flow rate as a function of at least one of the following measured parameters: the flow rate and the velocity of the air flow (A) and the air pressure in the working space (3). As a result, the air flow rate can be rapidly adapted to changing conditions and can always be appropriate for efficient cooling and for creation of an overpressure.

  • Patent number: 8720492
Abstract: A selection device for a shed-forming device of a weaving machine has an electromagnetic selector (11) with at least two poles (P1), (P2), . . . (Pn) and a selection element (1), (2); (25), (26); (40), (41) which is located in a cooperating position with a zone (50) alongside at least two poles (P1), (P2), . . . (Pn) and is retained at a holding distance (A) from this zone (50), in which the selector (11) with each adjacent pole (P1), (P2) can exert a magnetic force on the zone (50), and in which the zone (50) extends over a distance (Z) that is shorter than the coil length (S), while the holding distance (A) is at least equal to half the positionable length (L) of the selection element.

  • Patent number: 6771479
Abstract: Device for energizing a number of coils of a hook selection device for a weaving machine includes an electrical power supply source connected to the coils and a regulating device for regulating the current intensity in the coils. Each coil includes: a comparator for comparing the current intensity in the coil to a reference current intensity and a controllable current regulator (e.g. a chopper transistor) for regulating the current intensity in the coil in order to reach or approach the reference current intensity. The regulating device includes an electronic control circuit that is provided to control the current regulator of each coil of a number of coils, in order to reduce a variance between the actual current intensity in that coil and the reference current intensity measured by the comparator of that coil.

  • Publication number: 20030076646
Abstract: Device for energising a number of coils (1) of a hook selection device for a weaving machine, comprising an electrical power supply source (V1) connected to the coils (1) and a regulating device for regulating the current intensity in the coils, comprising for each coil: a comparator (3) for comparing the current intensity in the coil (1) to a reference current intensity, and a controllable current regulator (e.g. a chopper transistor (M1)) provided for regulating the current intensity in the coil (1) in order to reach or approach this reference current intensity, whereas said regulating device comprises an electronic control circuit (2a, 2b) that is provided to control the current regulator (M1) of each coil (1) of a number of coils, in order to reduce a variance between the actual current intensity in that coil (1) and the reference current intensity measured by the comparator (3) of that coil (1).
