  • Patent number: 11952805
Abstract: A door lock arrangement of a vehicle door of a vehicle includes a first closing element arranged in a lock mouth of the vehicle door and a second closing element arranged on a body of the vehicle. The first and second closing elements can be brought into positive-locking engagement with each other to hold the door on the body. A damping device absorbs kinetic energy of the door during a closing movement of the door within a predetermined limit opening angle of the vehicle door relative to the body and slows down the closing movement of the door. The damping device has an impact element arranged on the door in a displaceable manner relative to the door or on the body in a displaceable manner relative to the body. The impact element is connected to an actuator, which applies a pre-tensioning force of the door directed in an opening direction of the door while the first and second closing elements are engaged with each other.

  • Publication number: 20230228131
Abstract: A method for detecting a closed position of a movable part of a vehicle, in particular an automatically operable vehicle, said method comprising the following steps: a control unit receives a first position signal from a first signal source as a first closure criterion which comprises at least one locking position of a vehicle lock for the movable part; the control unit adds a conditional test instruction to the received first position signal, wherein the conditional test instruction comprises checking for at least one second position signal as a second closure criterion after detecting the first position signal, wherein the first closure criterion is also satisfied; the control unit receives the second position signal from a second signal source as a second closure criterion, wherein the second signal source is different from the first signal source and the second position signal can be assigned to the movable part; the control unit outputs a confirmation signal when both closure criteria are satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20070126242
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle door lock comprising a housing and functional elements that are situated inside the housing, the elements being used for the following: a) a hand actuation of the lock by means of actuating elements that are mounted on the interior and exterior of the door; b) a central locking system that can be activated and operated either manually or by means of a motor; and c) alternatively cl) either a motor-operated door opening aid or c2) a unit, which is used to switch the actuating elements on the interior of the door into an inactive state, in which the actuating elements prevent the opening of the lock. One of the aims of the invention is to enable the lock to be produced in an efficient manner in both of the alternative embodiments. To achieve this, the two embodiments use a housing with an identical unmodified form and drive motors (3) that are identically.

  • Patent number: 7128349
Abstract: A motor-vehicle door latch has two spaced rigid housing parts, at least one main pivot pin extending between the parts and having an inner end fixed in one of the parts against movement relative thereto and an outer end fixed in the other part against movement relative thereto, and an element pivotal on the main pivot pin. At least one secondary pivot pin extending between the parts has an inner end fixed in the one housing part against movement relative thereto and an opposite outer end, and an element is also pivotal on the secondary pivot pin. A lost-motion joint is provided between the secondary-pin outer end and the other housing part for free limited relative movement in at least one direction of the secondary-pin outer end and the other housing part and no relative movement of the secondary-pin outer end and the other housing part in a perpendicular direction.

  • Patent number: 5868017
Abstract: A locking device for vehicles, particularly for vehicle doors has a mechanical revolving connection between a cylinder core of a lock cylinder and a safety lever of an assigned lock which comprises a driving coupling in the form of a lock nut. In order to achieve a simplification of the construction and mounting of the locking device while ensuring the operability of the locking device when it is operated mechanically as well as when the central locking system is operated, the lock nut is constructed in one piece. An end side of the lock nut facing an operating lever arm of the safety lever has two stops spaced angularly from one another and projecting from the end side. The operating lever arm engages between the stops, so that when the lock nut is rotated, a locking or unlocking position of the safety lever is achieved after an idling path.
