  • Patent number: 8430261
Abstract: A closure cover for tanks under internal pressure, with a cover body (6) which can be fixed in a tank neck by rotation, and with a cover (14) which is provided with a handle (15) and is operatively connected to the cover body (6), and with a pressure control valve (40). A coupling device (22-28) is arranged between the cover body (6) and the cover (14) and, during the positive pressure which prevails in the fuel tank during normal operation, releases the rotational connection between the cover body (6) and the cover (14) such that the fuel tank cannot be opened, and in that a pressure control valve (40) is provided which opens when the positive pressure prevailing during normal operation is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 8047393
Abstract: A tank filler neck comprises an outer wall (1), an inner wall (2) and an inner space (19) closed off from the environment during operation. In order to enable the pressure in this space (19) to be equalized in both directions, a negative and positive pressure relief valve (20) is provided in the annular space (18) between outer wall (1) and inner wall (2). The valve comprises a partition (21) with holes (30) distributed over the circumference, said partition dividing the annular space (18) between outer wall (1) and inner wall (2) into a first annular space (22) connected to the atmosphere and a second annular space (23) connected to the inner space (19), a first valve ring (31) in the first annular space (22) and a second valve ring (32) in the second annular space (23), which valve rings have first zones (40, 42) and second offset zones (41, 43) alternating in the circumferential direction, see FIG. 4.

  • Patent number: 6726254
Abstract: A fuel container with a pipe, the fuel container having a pipe connecting piece with a conically widened rim and the pipe having an annular bead, on which a connecting member acts, and a sealing ring further being seated between the conically widened rim and the annular bead. In order to make the connection such that it can be produced simply and accurately, and to make it quite tightly, on the side of the annular bead facing the pipe connecting piece, the pipe forms a cylinder with two circumferential grooves, in each of which a sealing ring is seated, which rests in a sealing manner on the cylindrical inner surface of the pipe connecting piece. The annular bead has a cross section with two oblique flanks, the conically widened rim of the pipe connecting piece resting on the flank facing the pipe connecting piece, and the connecting member acting on the flank facing away.
