Abstract: Generating a digital representation of a process automation system on a cloud-based service platform uses assets integrated into measurement points. The method includes reading TAG information using an edge device, wherein the TAG information is provided in a character chain data type and represents the hierarchical structure of the respective asset. The method also includes transmitting the TAG information to the cloud-based service platform, and parsing the TAG information using an application, wherein a logic is used for the parsing process, and the name of the asset and the name of the measurement point in which the respective asset is integrated are extracted from the TAG information. A structure plan of the system is generated using the application having all of the system measurement points extracted from the TAG information together with all of the assets which are assigned to the measurement points and are extracted from the TAG information.

Abstract: A method for commissioning a field device or a service job on the field device uses a mobile transport unit having a position determination unit designed for navigation and further having an output unit. The method includes: transmitting a commissioning or service notification to the mobile transport unit, wherein the notification contains the identification of the field device and an operating action to be carried out on the field device; locating the installation position of the field device by the mobile transport unit based on the identification of the field device; guiding an operator to the installation position via autonomous navigation of the mobile transport unit through the installation; and assisting the operator when performing the operating action, wherein the mobile transport unit specifies and/or explains to the operator all operations or actions to be carried out.

Abstract: Method for operating a fieldbus access unit, wherein telegrams transferred via a fieldbus are tapped by the access unit, especially without the access unit participating in a data transmission via the fieldbus, wherein the field device information required for interpretation of tapped telegrams is downloaded from a superordinated unit based on identification data contained in the telegrams.

Abstract: To obtain an improved possibility of establishing the causes of failure in linear drive devices with an electric drive, operational data logging means shall be provided for logging data in connection with operational loads and/or an operating state of the electric drive, which occur over a certain period of time, wherein the operational data logging means can be connected to the power connection means for data logging. Means for storing data, which are based on a plurality of measurements of the same measured variable, which measurements are performed one after another, make it possible to log and evaluate data over a long period of time, preferably during the entire service life of the linear drive device. The measurements are carried out during the use of the linear drive device (14) during which it is in a loaded state.
