  • Patent number: 11837419
Abstract: An on-load tap-changer has a transmission, a motor with an output shaft, and a diverter switch with a drive shaft. The transmission has a cam disk; a drive gear wheel; and a roller coupled to the drive gear wheel. The cam disk is connected the output shaft, which lies on a rotation axis of the cam disk. The drive gear wheel is connected to the drive shaft. The cam disk has an inner and outer contour, which are followed by the roller, and which each have a first region with a constant radius of curvature and a second region in which a distance of a respective contour from the rotation axis of the cam disk changes. During a rotational movement of the cam disk, the roller follows the first region of the outer contour, the second region of the outer contour, and then the first region of the inner contour.

  • Patent number: 6182912
Abstract: A fuel injection valve, in particular a high-pressure injection valve for the direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber of a compressed mixture, externally ignited internal combustion engine, has in a guide and seat area provided at the downstream end of the valve which area is formed by three disk-shaped elements. A swirl element is nested between a guide element and a valve seat element. The guide element, which can move radially in the assembled valve and which has an inner guide opening, serves to guide an axially movable valve needle which extends through it, while a valve closing section of the valve needle acts in concert with a valve seat surface of the valve seat element. The guide element is spring-loaded through a compression spring which acts upon it.

  • Patent number: 6178637
Abstract: In known methods for producing rotationally symmetrical valve seat faces, the valve closing body is brought into contact with the valve seat face of the valve seat body, set into a rotary motion, and set parallel to the rotary axis into an oscillating motion of high frequency. When the valve is assembled, care must then be taken that this pairing of the valve closing body and the valve seat body is preserved. In the novel method, the valve seat body is inserted into a receiving body and fixed by means of a tappet. A spherical tool body engages the valve seat face of the valve seat body with a contact pressure force and rotates in a rotary direction that is opposite a rotary direction of the valve seat body.

  • Patent number: 6170767
Abstract: A fuel injection valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, in particular for direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, has a magnet coil, an armature that can be moved by the magnet coil in a linear stroke direction toward a first return spring, and a valve needle joined to a valve closure element. In the linear stroke direction, the armature engages positively on the valve needle. In the opposite direction, the armature is freely movable independently of the valve needle toward a second return spring. The armature is bearing-mounted on the valve needle by way of at least one slide bearing having several balls.

  • Patent number: 6145761
Abstract: A fuel injection valve, in particular, a high-pressure injection valve, for injecting fuel directly into a combustion chamber of a compressed-mixture internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition. The fuel injection valve includes a guide and seating area formed by three disc-shaped elements provided at the downstream end of the valve. A swirl element is embedded between a guide element and a valve seat element. The guide element is used to guide a valve needle which passes through it and can move in the axial direction, while a valve closing segment of the valve needle interacts with a valve seat surface of the valve seat element. The swirl element has an inner opening area with multiple swirl channels which are not joined to the outer circumference of the swirl element. The entire opening area extends completely across the axial thickness of the swirl element.
