  • Patent number: 11486720
Abstract: A method for improving the ride comfort of a transportation vehicle including planning a first driving route by a navigation system; automatically detecting at least one road parameter of the first driving route by a sensor system of the transportation vehicle; automatically evaluating the first driving route in view of the ride comfort of the first driving route by taking into account the road parameter; and in response thereto using the first driving route or planning an alternative driving route.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 11, 2018
Date of Patent: November 1, 2022
Inventors: Marc Blumentritt, Frank Bärecke, Stefan Kukla
  • Patent number: 11292310
Abstract: A method for adjusting the damper hardness of a vibration damper of a wheel of a transportation vehicle, wherein the transportation vehicle body movement signal is generated by a control device of the transportation vehicle from a first sensor signal of the first sensor unit connected fixedly in to a transportation vehicle body, a wheel movement signal is generated from a second sensor signal of a second sensor unit which detects a wheel position of the wheel with respect to the body, a speed signal which describes a speed of the transportation vehicle body is generated based on the transportation vehicle body movement signal, and the wheel movement signal and an actuation signal for setting the damper hardness is generated based on the speed signal. The transportation vehicle body movement signal is filtered by a first filter unit and/or the wheel movement signal is filtered by a second filter unit.

Date of Patent: April 5, 2022
    Inventors: Frank Bärecke, Stefan Kukla
  • Patent number: 11052720
Abstract: A method for actuating the vibration damper of a transportation vehicle wheel suspension including generating data which represents the topography of the roadway lying in front of the transportation vehicle; analyzing the data with respect to roadway unevenness; adjusting the vibration damper while taking into consideration the evaluation of the roadway unevenness, wherein the amplitude spectrum of the roadway unevenness is ascertained from the data; and generating a specification for the damping of the vibration damper based on the amplitude spectrum.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 10, 2017
Date of Patent: July 6, 2021
Inventors: Frank Bärecke, Khatab Shaddy, Stefan Kukla

  • Patent number: 10942033
Abstract: A method for determining an alternative trajectory for an autonomously-driven transportation vehicle wherein an alternative trajectory for the transportation vehicle is calculated by a control device in response to an obstacle being detected by a transportation vehicle sensor device, which trajectory replaces at least one portion of an original trajectory of the transportation vehicle so the trajectory has a minimum total disturbance of at least one disturbance summand, consisting of a respective weighting factor and one disturbance value.
