Patent number: 8365980Abstract: The invention is directed to a container for non-liquid food, such as for popcorn, potato chips or french fries, and has a bottom and an upright peripheral wall which together delineate a cavity for holding the food, as well as a pocket, which is formed from parts of the peripheral wall for holding an object that accompanies the food. In order to prevent an escape of the food located in the cavity and/or a contact of the object in the pocket with the food in the cavity, the invention provides that a lower end of the pocket is formed from a movable peripheral wall part which is delineated by two fold lines diverging upwards in a V shape and a punch line or cut joining the upper ends of the fold lines at a distance from an upper edge of the peripheral wall.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2010Date of Patent: February 5, 2013Assignee: PCO Group GmbHInventors: Bernhard Wettlaufer, Stefan Lemke

Patent number: 7094271Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing stainless steels, in particular steels containing chromium and chromium-nickel. The method is carried out in a melting device containing a metallurgical vessel, or in a melting device (1) containing at least two vessels (2, 3) for supplying a steel-casting installation, an electric arc furnace process (1) and an air-refining process taking place alternately in the two vessels (2, 3). To improve the efficiency of a method of this type, the aim of the invention is to carry out a reversible treatment of unreduced converter slag in the electric-arc furnace mode. To achieve this, in the first treatment stage, the slag (19) with a high chromium content is melted together with the added charge, the slag is then reduced during the melting process with the silicon and carbon under favorable thermodynamic conditions of the arc, once the slag has reached a minimum temperature of 1,490° C. and the slag is subsequently removed.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2001Date of Patent: August 22, 2006Assignee: SMS Demag AGInventors: Karl Reiner Götzinger, Stefan Lemke, Johann Reichel, Bernt Rollinger

Publication number: 20050166710Abstract: In a method of treating alloyed carbon-containing iron melts for the production of steel, whereby a carbon-containing iron melt is subjected in a metallurgical vessel to a decarburization by addition of oxygen and a part of the metallic alloying elements is slagged, whereby the metal melt is withdrawn from the metallurgical vessel while the unreduced slag remains in the metallurgical vessel and then the metallurgical vessel is filled with a new charge or iron melt and subjected anew to a decarburization process so that the loss of expensive metallic alloying elements as a result of decarburization is small because of the slagging. This is achieved in that without intervening removal of the slag, the slag is increasingly, saturated with metal oxides which derive from the melt and such that with increasing saturation the slagging of the metallic alloying elements is increasingly counteracted.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2003Publication date: August 4, 2005Inventors: Stefan Lemke, Jan Reichel, Karl-Reiner Gotzinger

Patent number: 5961688Abstract: A process and a steelmaking device for the metallurgical treatment of iron metals, especially for producing steel melts. To carry out metallurgical processing of iron metals, and especially to produce steel melts, in an energy-saving, environmentally friendly and economical fashion, all metallurgical processes are carried out in a single vessel. This vessel first functions as a converter and then, without the melt product being poured out, functions subsequently as an electric arc furnace.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 1997Date of Patent: October 5, 1999Assignee: Mannesmann AktiengesellschaftInventors: Peter Meierling, Udo Falkenreck, Stefan Lemke, Udo Evers

Patent number: 5747080Abstract: The invention relates to a process for producing popped grain products enriched with vitamins, minerals and/or trace elements, especially popcorn. Before or during popping of the raw grain kernels a predetermined amount of vitamins and/or minerals and/or trace elements dissolved or dispersed by themselves alone or in a suitable carrier substance are placed in a suitable container in which the raw grain kernels are already located. The added micronutrients are heat treated together with the grain kernels for 1 to 5 minutes at a temperature from 130.degree. to 280.degree. C., or with microwaves at 400 to 1500 watts. At least most of the amount of micronutrients used are absorbed by the popping grain kernels and are uniformly distributed in them, so that a ready-to-eat popcorn product enriched with micronutrients is obtained.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 1996Date of Patent: May 5, 1998Inventors: Stefan Lemke, Angelos Sagredos
