  • Patent number: 10243398
Abstract: Device for an energy generation unit of a user's installation, which is connected to an energy supply network and to at least one energy consumption unit of the user's installation and comprises a programmable logic control which controls an internal energy consumption, by the energy consumption units of the user's installation, of the energy generated by the energy generation unit.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 12, 2013
Date of Patent: March 26, 2019
    Assignee: Fronius International GmbH
Inventors: Florian Schuster, Ernst-Werner Baumgartinger, Markus Brandstoetter, Andreas Stadler, Stefan Martetschlaeger
  • Publication number: 20150162748
Abstract: A method for operating an inverter (1) of a photovoltaic installation is specified, wherein a reference value/reference profile of at least one parameter of the photovoltaic installation is compared with an actual value/actual profile of said parameter. If the deviation between said actual value/actual profile and the reference value/reference profile exceeds a predefinable threshold, then the inverter function of the inverter (1) is at least temporarily disabled. Furthermore, an inverter (1) for carrying out said method is specified.

  • Patent number: 8081065
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for protecting a photovoltaic plant (1) against rodent bite damage, wherein the photovoltaic plant (1) comprises several components, among them solar cells (2), a control unit (5), an inverter (7), an internal voltage supply means (13) and at least one microcontroller (9) which are interconnected via corresponding lines (3, 6, 8, 11). To provide such a device which offers an optimum protection against damage caused by bites and which entails as little maintenance and installation expenditures as possible, an ultrasonic transmitter (12) is provided for emitting an ultrasonic signal, and the ultrasonic transmitter (12) is connected to a microcontroller (9) of the photovoltaic plant (1) such that the ultrasonic signal emitted is controllable via the photovoltaic plant (1).
