  • Patent number: 11946921
Abstract: Methods and systems for enhancing environmental response data from natural and/or anthropogenic environments can use physical laws and data science principles to combine the information contained in environmental response input data and at least two independent types of environmental driver input data to produce environmental response data that has been enhanced from the environmental response input data in at least one of the following ways: the environmental response output data has improved accuracy; the environmental response output data has improved precision; the environmental response output data comprises a greater number of times; the environmental response output data comprises a greater number of locations in one-dimensional, two-dimensional, or three-dimensional space.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 2019
Date of Patent: April 2, 2024

  • Publication number: 20220276625
Abstract: A method and system for controlling emissions by combining environmental response information, first environmental driver information and/or second environmental driver information to produce a space and time aligned data set that in turn can be used to produce a driver-response relationship model. Then using the driver-response relationship model to generate enhanced environmental response output information, which can be used to control emissions.

  • Patent number: 9633739
Abstract: Methods and devices for erasing information stored on an electronic semiconductor component in a plurality of non-volatile memory elements are described. Irradiating the semiconductor component with erasing radiation until a target dose has been absorbed by the semiconductor component, the erasing radiation penetrating the semiconductor component, results in an ionization effect which influences the concentration of the charge carriers stored on the memory elements such that a statistical distribution of the threshold voltages of the memory elements forms a contiguous region.

  • Patent number: 5273172
Abstract: A closure device for drinking from a liquid container (2) is sealingly mounted with a bottom part (3) of a main body thereof extending into an opening of the container. A top part (4) has a circular-arc portion with a groove (6) therein. Liquid-emitting and air-admitting bore holes (10, 11) are positioned in a base of the groove. A pivotally movable cap (14) is mounted on the top part covering the groove. When the cap is pivoted, it causes a flexible hose (12) mounted in the liquid-emitting bore hole to bend and thereby closes it. At the same time, the bent hose closes the air-admitting opening.
