  • Patent number: 6702267
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydraulic bearing, especially for supporting motor vehicle assemblies, that includes a supporting connection, a buttress connection which lies axially opposite the supporting connection and a bearing spring element which is located between these two and which includes (i) an elastomer radial spring, (ii) an expanding spring which is configured as a separate molded elastomer part in the form of a bell-type rolling membrane and which forms part of a hydraulic damping system between the supporting connection and the buttress connection, and (iii) an axially upright steel helical spring. The hydraulic damping system includes a working chamber, a throttle channel and a compensation chamber. A bearing housing radially surrounds the bearing spring element and the hydraulic damping system and is supported by the buttress connection.

  • Patent number: 6572087
Abstract: An elastomer spring for supporting an axially arranged coil spring, in particular in an engine mounting is constructed to reduce the radial loads on the coil spring with simultaneous damping and includes a transversely soft composition for the elastomeric spring. The elastomeric spring is provided with a centering projection which may be introduced into the coil spring and a section which may be deformed by the effect of radial forces, with a molded sheet being provided to stabilize the force carrying section of the elastomeric spring.

  • Patent number: 5860638
Abstract: A bearing is provided to dampen oscillating/vibrating masses and which comprises a resilient support body (2), an adapter (3) to connect the bearing with the oscillating/vibrating mass and a housing (4) frictionally locking the bearing against a retaining means, the bearing being fitted with a spring system (6) to receive loads substantially applied in the vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 5700000
Abstract: The invention in directed to a bearing to damp oscillatory masses and includes a rubber-elastic support body, a receiving device mounted at and/or in the support device and connecting the bearing to the oscillatory mass, and a housing frictionally bracing the support body against a mount. The support body is fitted in such manner with at least one clearance extending substantially in the axial direction of the support body that when the bearing is loaded statically, the outer walls of the clearance are mutually apart.
