  • Patent number: 11959547
Abstract: A sensor arrangement (46) for an automated transmission includes multiple axially parallel shift rails (4, 14, 24, 34) being axially displaceable by associated shift actuators (8, 18, 28, 38). The sensor arrangement (46) has multiple displacement sensors (48, 56, 64, 72) made up of a signal transmitter (50, 58, 66, 74) attached to a shift rail and a signal receiver (52, 60, 68, 76) fixedly arranged on a housing. The signal transmitters are in the form of a permanent magnet, and the signal receivers are in the form of a 3D Hall sensor. To detect an external magnetic interference field, which can corrupt the sensor signals from the displacement sensors (48, 56, 64, 72), the signal transmitters (50, 58, 66, 74) have identical axial alignments of their magnetic poles, and the signal receivers (52, 60, 68, 76) are in a common plane (80) that is horizontal in their installation position.

The molar ratio of the epoxy groups of the polyepoxide compound to the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate compound is 50:1 to 2.4:1. The at least one epoxy-group terminated polyoxazolidinone is present in an amount of 50 to 95% by weight, in respect of the solid content of the composition. The sum of all components in respect of the solid content of the composition adds up to 100% by weight and where the solid content of the composition is at least 35% by weight.

  • Publication number: 20230272783
Abstract: A method for identifying an accumulation of ice on at least one rotor blade of a wind turbine includes a number of steps. First, operating and ambient conditions during operation of the wind turbine are determined. An electrical output of the wind turbine that is to be expected under the operating and ambient conditions is determined. An electrical output that is actually generated by the wind turbine is measured, and the expected electrical output of the wind turbine is compared with the electrical output actually generated by same. Depending on the result of the comparison, whether the at least one rotor blade is free of ice is determined with a high level of probability and vibrations of the at least one rotor blade are detected. Characteristic properties of the vibrations are detected and stored as a reference for the device for identifying an accumulation of ice, if, in the comparison, it was determined with a high level of probability that the at least one rotor blade is free of ice.

  • Patent number: 10949924
Abstract: An automated, inter-arrival-time-based system and method for automated prediction and exposure-signaling of associated, catastrophic risk-event driven or triggered risk-transfer systems, for low frequency catastrophic or operational risk events and automated risk-transfer. Risk-events are measured and assigned to a historic hazard set comprising event parameters for each assigned risk-event. Risk-exposed units and/or the automated risk-transfer systems are provided with corresponding risk-transfer parameters for automated risk-transfer and/or automated risk-event cover. An event loss set is based on the measured frequencies with associated losses of said risk-events of the hazard set, each of said risk-events creating a set specific loss. Time-stamps, based on an automatically and/or dynamically estimated distribution of corresponding inter-arrival times parameters, capture a waiting time between consecutive events of the period loss set.

  • Publication number: 20180126387
Abstract: The invention relates to a comminuting machine (8) with a rotor system, in particular a knife ring flaker, in which the feedstock is conveyed pneumatically in the axial direction into the central region of the rotor (10) and is conveyed in the radial direction to the comminuting tools arranged around the rotor (10) in the manner of a ring. In order to uniformly wear the knives extending in the axial direction in such devices, it is proposed to provide in the central region (14) an insert (15) which is rotatably driven by a motor (22) and which has separate chambers (16, 17) with which the feedstock entering said chambers is dispensed at axially and radially to different regions. This insert (15) can, in particular, be designed as a rotor, which has a plurality of chambers which are especially shaped in the cross-section in the manner of a circular sector.

  • Patent number: 6726542
Abstract: The invention relates to a grinding wheel for grinding a blade, on the surface of which ions are deposited by means of a plasma-supported method and containing silicon carbide as abrasive medium with a grain size ranging from 100 to 500 mesh, said material being deposited in a ceramic based binding agent with aluminum silicate. The abrasive medium grains are thermally hardened and bonded in the porous aluminum silicate bond. Abrasive medium concentration in the grinding wheel is higher than 1 volume %. Said grinding wheel is used in a grinding system for rough grinding the blade. Polishing is then cared out with a second grinding wheel containing pure corundum as abrasive medium with a grain size ranging from 400 to 800 mesh, which is deposited a in multicomponent synthetic resin, preferably a phenol resin based resin with a concentration of more than 1 volume %, preferably 30 to 50%. The abrasive medium contains polishing-active filling materials with a volume fraction ranging between 3% and 10%.
