    Abstract: A control system for a partition wall system, which has individually displaceable partition wall elements, which each have a subordinate control unit. The wall elements can be disposed to form a closed partition wall by being displaceable in a guiding rail by a drive motor for displacing the partition wall element. The subordinate control units are equipped with a position data detection unit, which detects the position of the partition wall elements independently from an operating state during interruption of energy supply to the control system.
