  • Patent number: 9902887
Abstract: A latent-reactive hot-melt adhesive composition comprising a) at least one first thermoplastic polymer, which is monofunctionally reactive to NCO groups and has a high tensile strength, b) at least one second NCO-reactive polymer and/or oligomer, polymer miscible with the first polymer a), which is at least di-functionally, preferably tri- or multifunctionally, reactive to NCO groups and has a melting temperature (Tm), which is lower than the melting temperature (Tm) of polymer a), and is in liquid form, c) at least one solid, surface deactivated di- and/or polyisocyanate, d) optionally one or more further thermoplastic polymer(s) which does not or do not react to NCO groups. Such compositions have significantly improved mechanical characteristics.

  • Patent number: 9481238
Abstract: A crash-tolerant system arrangement in an engine compartment situated in the front end region of a motor vehicle includes an exhaust emission control system having an essentially cylindrical first catalytic converter housing situated in front of the exhaust gas turbocharger in the travel direction. The exhaust gas turbocharger is mechanically connected to an exhaust gas manifold via a first fastening device, and to an engine block via a second fastening device, the first and the second fastening devices being designed in such a way that a detachment of the connection of the exhaust gas turbocharger to the exhaust gas manifold and/or a detachment of the connection of the exhaust gas turbocharger to the engine block take(s) place within a predefined upper value range for the pressure force.

  • Patent number: 5627246
Abstract: A supported catalyst system that is obtained bya) reacting a finely divided carrier with an a-trisalkoxy-silyl-.omega.-haloalkyl compound,b) adding a metallocene complex of the indicated formula I to the reaction product of a);c) reacting the product of b) with a quaternizing agent; andd) optionally adding an open-chain or cyclic alumoxane compound. The catalyst system can be used to prepare polymers of C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 -alk-1-enes.
