  • Publication number: 20180127224
Abstract: An apparatus for singling sheet goods which comprises a suction device with a stator and a rotor movable relative to the stator. The stator has at least one first opening and the rotor at least one second opening which overlap upon a rotation of the rotor and thereby define an opening area with a first end and a second end. The opening area extends starting from the first end up to the second end, wherein a section of the opening area between the first end and the second end forms a suction area in which sheet goods to be singled can be sucked by the suction device. The first end of the opening area is arranged spaced from the suction area so that arising noise can be dampened.

  • Patent number: 9938131
Abstract: A wine dispenser is disclosed that protects unpoured wine from oxidation due to exposure to air within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a weighted piston disposed within, the weighted piston being configured to move toward the dispensing end of the dispenser body when the dispenser is tilted downward, causing wine to be dispensed via a dispensing assembly. The dispensing assembly includes a lid having a wine flow channel that provides a path for wine to flow out of the dispenser body, and a unidirectional flow valve that is biased in a closed air-tight state to prevent air from entering the dispenser body via the wine flow channel, unless the unidirectional flow valve is forced into an open state, thereby allowing wine to flow out from the dispenser body via the wine flow channel, and then out of the dispenser via a pouring neck.

  • Publication number: 20170341081
Abstract: A shredding apparatus for value documents, has two mutually counter-rotatable roller-shaped cutting devices which are disposed opposite each other with reference to a transport path of the value documents to be shredded, in order to cut up the value documents transported along the transport path with the aid of the cutting edges into a multiplicity of value document shreds. A stripper is allocated to each of the cutting devices, which stripper has several stripper elements arranged parallel to each other, which stripper elements engage between the cutting edges of the respective cutting device in order to remove the value document shreds from the cutting edges. The shape of the stripper elements is chosen such that the stripper elements on the front side of the respective cutting device, said front side facing the transport path of the value documents, engage between the cutting edges of the respective cutting device.

  • Publication number: 20170088394
Abstract: A control system for an elevator system may comprise elevator cars and an elevator control for assigning elevator cars to destination calls. In a first mode of operation, the elevator control may be adapted to determine and assign an elevator car to transport a passenger based on at least one elevator car determination criterion. The elevator control may wait to provide information identifying the elevator car assigned to the passenger until the assigned elevator car approaches or arrives at a floor on which the passenger is located. Waiting to provide such information permits the elevator control to modify which elevator car ultimately transports the passenger based on intervening factors such as a door being held on an elevator car that was initially assigned to transport the passenger. In a second mode of operation, the passenger may be provided with the information that identifies the assigned elevator car immediately after the destination call is placed.

  • Publication number: 20170007194
Abstract: A method operates an x-ray system for examining an object. In order to optimize the operation of an x-ray system, in particular the dose regulation and/or the image processing, the following method steps are performed. Radiation is passed through the object to be examined and a number of fluoroscopic images of the object are generated. A relevant image region of a fluoroscopic image is selected by a user of the x-ray system. An image-based dose regulation of the radiation dose used for passing radiation through the object is carried out using the selected image region and/or image processing is carried out using the selected image region.

  • Patent number: 9285254
Abstract: A flowmeter for liquids has a measuring housing, which encloses and rotatably mounts an impeller, said measuring housing comprising a one-piece supply pipe and discharge pipe, wherein the impeller is eccentrically arranged in the discharge pipe after a nozzle-forming constriction. A sensor encoder is associated with the impeller and a sensor which responds to the sensor encoder is provided on the measuring housing for determining the amount of liquid flowing through the measuring housing on the basis of the revolutions of the impeller. The outer diameter corresponding to the impeller is smaller than the nominal inner diameter of the discharge pipe, enabling it to be pushed into the one-piece pipe.
