  • Publication number: 20140149320
Abstract: A system and method is provided for consistent price optimization in multi-modal transportation networks. A corridor is constructed for each origin-destination pair of a transportation network based on one or more parameters. Monotonicity constraints and triangle constraints are generated for each origin-destination pair. An objective function is constructed and convexified using point-price elasticity for consistent price optimization. The one or more parameters and coefficients for a mathematical optimization program are then computed and the mathematical optimization problem is solved for a consistent optimal pricing scheme.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for revenue management in multi-modal transportation networks. • Publication number: 20040265803
Abstract: The invention relates to genes comprising coding mononucleotide microsatellites (cMNR) or dinucleotide microsatellites (cDNR). The genes can be isolated from MSI+ tumour cells. Said genes differ from corresponding genes from non-MSI+ (tumour) cells by mutations in the cMNR or cDNR and code for gene products including neopeptides. The invention also relates to the use of the genes and their gene products for the prevention, diagnosis and/or therapy of MSI+ tumours.

  • Patent number: 6027891
Abstract: This invention relates to a method of detection of an mRNA having HPV and cellular sequences in a body sample, comprising the following steps:(a) obtaining a body sample;(b) isolating mRNA from the body sample of (a);(c) translating the mRNA of (b) into cDNA using a primer common for reverse transcription;(d) amplifying the cDNA of (c) by a PCR reaction with a 5' HPV primer and a 3' primer having sequences of the primer of (c);(e) cleaving the amplified cDNA of (d) with an endonuclease cleaving on the 5' side of the HPV polyadenylation sequence;(f) amplifying the non-cleaved cDNA of (e) with the primers of (d) or with "nested" primers; and(g) detecting the amplified cDNA of (f).Furthermore, this invention concerns the use of such a method of early detection of HPV-associated carcinomas and extreme dysplasias caused by HPV, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5022686
Abstract: The rotating union for two different fluids comprises a hollow shaft (2) mounted rotatably in a stationary housing (1), with two separate axial throughflow channels (4, 5). A slide ring packing assembly is provided between the hollow shaft (2) and two separate inlet channels (9, 17) provided in the housing (1) for the two fluids. This includes a common slide ring (8) which is connected at its face to the hollow shaft (2) and comprises a central bore (8a) and several axial passages (8b) arranged concentrically thereto, and in the housing (1) a central slide ring (11) and a slide ring (14) concentrically surrounding the latter. The concentric slide ring (14) comprises several axial passages (14a) which are arranged in a circle concentric to the axis of rotation (A) and connected to the inlet channel (17) for the second fluid.
