  • Publication number: 20170190091
Abstract: A temperature probe, particularly for thermoplastic mix extrusion machines, which comprises at least one casing, which is adapted to be inserted in an extrusion cylinder substantially at right angles to the extrusion direction with one end thereof facing into the internal cavity of the extrusion cylinder so that it is in direct contact with the extrusion material contained in the internal cavity, and at least one thermocouple, which is accommodated in the casing and is adapted to detect the temperature of the extrusion material by thermal conduction through the casing, the temperature probe comprising thermally insulating elements which are interposed at least partially between the casing and the extrusion cylinder so as to reduce the thermal influence of the extrusion cylinder on the measurement made by the thermocouple.

  • Patent number: 7685279
Abstract: A system includes an interface to receive network geolocation information associated with a first party to a network session between the first entity and a second entity, coupled via a network. The network geolocation information is determined utilizing a network address of the first entity. The system further includes a decision logic module to obtain supplemental information concerning the first entity by harvesting the supplemental information locally at the first entity. The decision logic module is further to generate an assessment regarding compliance with a geolocation policy defined in connection with access to the second entity, the assessment being generated utilizing the network geolocation information and the supplemental information.

  • Patent number: 5806744
Abstract: Apparatus for feeding and tensioning threads in a textile machine including corresponding weaving members supplied with the threads. For each thread, a calander is provided with first and second superimposed wheels between which the thread, coming from a corresponding store located upstream of the apparatus, is made to pass. The wheels are mounted on corresponding parallel, horizontal shafts. A body for supporting the wheels is rotatively mounted on a corresponding body shaft having axis parallel to one of the wheels. The body itself is supported by a fixed bearing structure. A thread-holder arm of flexible and elastic material is provided with one end fixed to the body and the other end of the arm is provided with a thread-guiding ring through which the thread, coming from the calander (H), is made to pass.
