    Abstract: A technique for transmitting and receiving data in a radio communication from a second radio device to a first radio device is described. A status message indicative of the one or more determined radio resources is transmitted to the second radio device. The data from the second radio device is received at the first radio device on at least one radio resource depending on the one or more radio resources indicated in the transmitted status message.

    Abstract: A transmitting UE schedules radio frequency resources for use in a data transmission. The transmitting UE determines the transmission bandwidth, subject to certain restrictions, such as allowed DFT sizes for the UE for a data transmission. The determination may be performed through autonomous resource selection operations and/or may be performed using information received through signaling received from the network node as part of a scheduling grant. The UE further determines the ALLOCATED BANDWIDTH. The ALLOCATED BANDWIDTH can be determined based on the TRANSMISSION BANDWIDTH, which has been determined, using a defined rule. Furthermore, the UE generates and transmits toward a receiving UE a scheduling assignment (SA) that indicates the number or the set of subchannels that are within, and conform to, the ALLOCATED BANDWIDTH which was determined. The UE can then perform the data transmission using the SA indicated number or set of subchannels.

    Abstract: A system, communication device, and method for scheduling transmissions from the communication device. The device predicts an arrival time of a next packet for transmission when a current packet arrives in a transmission buffer. The device plans a future transmission time of the next packet based on the predicted arrival time of the next packet, and books transmission resources for the planned future transmission time. If the next packet has arrived a Tdrop time period before the planned future transmission time, the device transmits the next packet. If the next packet has not arrived at that time, the device re-plans the future transmission time of the next packet. The device may then unbook the transmission resources for the planned future transmission time, book transmission resources for the re-planned future transmission time, and notify other communication devices that the unbooked transmission resources are available for use by the other communication devices.
