  • Patent number: 10648462
Abstract: A system for feeding and pumping of less pumpable material in a conduit line (28) is disclosed, comprising at least one main pump (10) for feeding of said less pumpable material into the conduit line (28), and a receiver unit (50) for receipt of the less pumpable material from the conduit line (28), wherein one or more independent driven compensators (40) are included in the conduit line (28) to maintain stable flow, said one or more compensators (40) being a fillable chamber (14;70) adapted to controllably being pressurized for additional feeding of the material through the conduit line.

  • Publication number: 20200094171
Abstract: Method and apparatus for filtration of polluted liquid in a single upright filtration tank, comprising feeding of fresh filter material via a fresh filter material inlet in a lower part of the filtration tank, feeding of polluted liquid via a liquid inlet in an upper part of the filtration tank, mixing of the filter material and the polluted liquid in the single upright filtration tank to filter the polluted liquid by conveying filter material from the lower part of the filtration tank to the upper part of the filtration tank, and discharge of used filter material through an upper used filter material outlet in the upper part of the filtration tank, and discharge of clean liquid from the filtration tank through a lower clean liquid outlet in the lower part of the filtration tank.

  • Publication number: 20190345423
Abstract: Method for mashing of malt and water to produce wort in a single upright tank (12), comprising the steps: feeding of fresh malt via a fresh malt inlet (16) to a lower part of the tank (12); feeding of mash water via a mash water inlet (22) to an upper part of the tank (12); mixing of the fresh malt and the mash water in the tank (12) to produce the wort by conveying malt from a lower part of the tank (12) to an upper part of the tank (12); discharge of used malt through an upper used malt outlet (18); and discharge of wort from the tank (12) through a lower wort outlet (20).

  • Patent number: 10473025
Abstract: A rotary motor (10;1 10) is described, comprising a stationary cylinder housing (12;1 12) having an internal mainly circular rotor (20;120) mounted on a drive shaft (14;1 14) and where the rotor (20;120) is equipped with a piston (16;1 16) and that provided about the rotor (20;120) is a circular working chamber (18;1 18) with an inlet (42;142) and an outlet (32;132) for supply and removal, respectively, of the relevant drive medium, where provided in front of the inlet (42; 142) of the working chamber (18;1 18) there is a passage valve (30; 130) arranged to allow passage of the piston (16;1 16) and to close the working chamber (18;1 18) after the piston (16;1 16) has passed.

  • Patent number: 10173146
Abstract: A method of treating a material to recover an oil from the material comprises heating the material to evaporate the oil, removing gas phase fluids from the material, and separating the oil from the gas phase fluids removed from the material, wherein the method includes mixing hot vapor with the material. The material being treated in the chamber is heated by friction within the chamber generated by a rotating shaft and flail. Injection of hot vapor improves the efficiency of the process to separate oil and any other evaporable liquids at lower temperatures. The thermal energy generated within the chamber is not consumed in changing the phase of large quantities of liquids in the material, and more of the energy generated is available to heat up the material and evaporate the oil fractions from the solids.
