Abstract: A volatile component is separated from a mixture by vaporization in an evaporator and condensation in a condenser. The vapor is transported by a carrier gas that is circulated in and between the evaporator and the condenser. A flow of a liquid is circulated in subsequent heat transfer steps from contact with the mixture via a cooler, via contact with the carrier gas in the condenser, via a heater, and back to contact with the mixture.

Abstract: An apparatus for establishing contact between a gas and a liquid comprises a contact body (3), means for wetting the body (3) with a liquid (1) and means for exposal of the wetted body (3) to a gas (2), said body (3) being mounted in an airtight chamber (4) being provided with openings (5,6) for passage of liquid (1) and conduits (8) for inlet and outlet of gas (2) to the chamber (4), a driving device (7) being arranged for forced inlet and outlet of gas (2).

Abstract: An expansion shield for anchoring a machine screw or bolt in a hole in masonry, concrete or stone comprises a strip-like blank of sheet helically wound around a shaft. One turn of the shield overlaps a previous turn. The blank in one end has an inwardly bent engagement portion. A method of producing such an expansion shield comprises winding with overlap a strip-like blank of sheet to helical shape on a rotatable and axially displaceable winding shaft which forms an acute angle with the feeding direction of the blank. A tool or an apparatus for producing the shield is also disclosed.
