  • Publication number: 20210305961
Abstract: A method for reconfiguration of a vortex density in a rare earth manganate, to a non-volatile impedance switch having reconfigurable impedance, and to the use thereof as micro-inductance is disclosed. A unique voltage-time profile is applied between a first and a second electrically conductive contact attached to the rare earth manganate, such that the rare earth manganate passes through an ordering temperature in a region of an electric field forming between the two electrically conductive contacts during a cooling process during and after application of the voltage pulse or the voltage ramp, and the vortex density is thus influenced and adjusted locally in the region of the electric field forming between the two electrically conductive contacts.

  • Patent number: 9546088
Abstract: An arrangement for filling watering cans (16), having a container (10) for receiving liquid, wherein the container is assigned a closable outlet and an in particular closable inlet. In this case, an effective cross section of the outlet may be larger than an effective cross section of the inlet.

  • Patent number: 9096019
Abstract: A scrim-reinforced prepreg assembly for use in building low-porosity lay-ups. The assembly includes a prepreg that is composed of a fibrous reinforcement and a heat-curable resin mixture, the prepreg having suitable viscosity and sufficient tackiness to hold a scrim which is adhered to the prepreg by applying light pressure. The scrim is impressed onto the prepreg to such a degree, that less than half of the circumference of the scrim strands becomes coated by the heat-curable resin mixture.

  • Patent number: 8435370
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for making a scrim-reinforced prepreg for use in building low-porosity lay-ups, characterized in that a conventional prepreg is formed of a fibrous reinforcement and a heat-curable resin, the prepreg having suitable viscosity and sufficient tackiness to hold a scrim which is adhered to the prepreg by applying light pressure, so that the scrim is impressed onto the prepreg to such a degree, that less than half of the circumference of the scrim strands becomes coated by the prepreg-resin.

  • Patent number: 6502458
Abstract: A method for checking the operational readiness of a valve determines at least one measured value for a valve-specific parameter and compares it with a previously fixed value. The measured value is determined in a cold and unpressurized state of the valve and is compared with a value that is determined analytically from a function model of the valve, for the valve-specific parameter. An upper and a lower limiting value which are fixed for this analytically determined value are assigned to states of the valve that are still tolerable (design reserve). It is indicated that the valve is operationally ready when the measured value is between the upper and the lower limiting value.
