  • Publication number: 20190118107
Abstract: The plastic toy building block is provided with electrical contacts to determine its position. The block has a basic body having recesses extending from top to bottom in its interior. In these are each inserted, combined into packets, several discrete elastically resilient conductor wires clamped between plastic strips. Elastically resilient conductor wires protrude downward into the recess. Contact points protrude from the plastic strips at the top. Several electrical cables are led from each nub to the underside of a nub plate to discrete contact points. Except for the nub surfaces, the nub plate can be covered by a cover plate and hereafter can be placed with the nub plate on the basic body of the toy building block. The lower contact points on the film then make electrical contact with the upper stubs and thus with contact points of the conductor wires.

  • Patent number: 10234825
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for time-controlled activation of a vehicle function in a vehicle with automatic adjustment of the time of a vehicle-internal clock from standard time to daylight saving time and/or from daylight saving time to standard time. An operator control element is provided for manually selecting an activation instant. An electronic control unit takes the activation instant and the time of the vehicle-internal clock as a basis for prompting activation of the vehicle function when the activation instant has been reached. Selection of an activation instant that occurs only after an automatic changeover of the vehicle-internal clock from standard time to daylight saving time or from daylight saving time to standard time is to be expected prompts output of appropriate indicator.

  • Patent number: 10002760
Abstract: A method for producing silicon carbide substrates fit for epitaxial growth in a standard epitaxial chamber normally used for silicon wafers processing. Strict limitations are placed on any substrate that is to be processed in a chamber normally used for silicon substrates, so as to avoid contamination of the silicon wafers. To take full advantage of standard silicon processing equipment, the SiC substrates are of diameter of at least 150 mm. For proper growth of the SiC boule, the growth crucible is made to have interior volume that is six to twelve times the final growth volume of the boule. Also, the interior volume of the crucible is made to have height to width ratio of 0.8 to 4.0. Strict limits are placed on contamination, particles, and defects in each substrate.
