  • Patent number: 6684753
Abstract: A hydraulic machine comprising the following: an envelope (2); a differential piston (15) consisting of two parts (15a,15b) which have a different diameter and are able to move in two corresponding chambers (7,6); hydraulic switching means which are driven by the piston (15) and can take up two stable positions in relation to the piston; control means for a rapid change in the position of the switching means including elastic means (E); and releasing means that can release the energy accumulated by the elastic means at the end of the travel and result in an abrupt change in the position of the switching means. The switching means are supported by a side-walled (27) lantern ring (26) that is coaxial to the piston and is driven by the piston but which can take up two different stable positions in relation to the piston and elastic means (E) are disposed inside the lantern ring (26) and are internally guided by the side wall (27) of said lantern ring (26).

  • Patent number: 6579028
Abstract: The connecting rod (1) for a knuckle joint device with three parallel axes comprises a substantially U-shaped center part (2), whereby the lower transversal branch (3a) thereof constitutes a third articulated axis (X3) of a release device and said branch (3a) is connected at a substantially right angle to the side branches (3b, 3c) and elastic deformation is possible, the side branches extend as far as the upper end thereof by means of segments (3d,3e) that are bent inwards and are parallel to the transversal branch, whereby said segments (3d,3e) display torsional elasticity around the geometric axis thereof such that a rotational return movement is possible on the side ranches (3b,3c) around said geometrical axis and the second axis (X2) of the knuckle joint device.

  • Publication number: 20020192085
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for varying the dosage of an additive (A) in a main flow (P) of liquid, the proportioning being provided by a pump (1) driven by the main flow, the pump comprising a first intake (2) for the main flow, a second intake (3) for the additive and an outlet for the dosed mixture. A branch pipe (5) of the main flow is provided between a zone (6) located upstream of the first intake (2) and a zone (7) located downstream of the outlet (4), so as to enable a parallel flow not comprising the additive. Periodic control means (C) for the branch pipe (5) and the first intake (2) of the pump are also provided so that each control period comprises at least a phase (Ud1) for which the branch pipe (5) is open and the first intake (2) is closed, and another phase (Ud2) for which the branch pipe (5) is closed while the first intake (2) is open.

  • Patent number: 5505224
Abstract: The device (D) for controlling the reciprocating displacements of a differential piston (1) includes at least one valve associated with each of the parts of different cross-sections of the piston (1), and a rocker mechanism (B) urged by a spring in a direction transverse to the direction of displacement of the piston (1). The rocker mechanism (B) is designed to control the valves in closure and/or opening at each end of stroke in order to reverse the movement of the piston (1); a push rod (55) is mounted so that it slides relative to the piston (1), whilst being able to be driven by this piston, the push rod being capable of coming to bear, at each end of stroke, against a limit stop (s, 14a) connected to the enclosure, in order to give rise to the rocking of the mechanism (B).
