The center tube extends circumferentially about an axial centerline. The center tube extends between and to a first axial tube end and a second axial tube end. The forward bulkhead is mounted to the center tube at the first axial tube end. The aft bulkhead is mounted to the center tube at the second axial tube end. The at least one baffle extends axially from the forward bulkhead to the aft bulkhead. At least the forward bulkhead, the aft bulkhead, or the at least one baffle include one or more thermal beads. The outer skin circumscribes the center tube, the forward bulkhead, the aft bulkhead, and the at least one baffle to form an acoustic cavity radially inside the outer skin.

In one embodiment, the method includes retrieving location information that identifies the location of the subscriber device. Advertising is matched and transmitted to the subscriber device according to the location of the device. Matching advertising to the subscriber device is based on a set of advertiser-defined matching criteria that matches both the location of the subscriber device and a set of subscriber characteristics stored in a subscriber profile. A subscriber may define a set of parameters within the subscriber profile that further filters the set of matched advertisements.

If the user purchases a prepaid card and loads a balance into a prepaid utilization account, a prepaid services system of the roaming service provider establishes a pseudo-telephone number for use by the wireless telephone in the roaming service area.

When calls are made to a wireless telephone, a determination is made as to whether the telephone is registered for service, that is, whether the telephone can receive calls because it is powered on and is located within a wireless telecommunications service area where it may receive calls. During out of service periods, caller identification information on calls placed to the wireless telephone is stored in an identification queue. Once the wireless telephone is registered for service, stored caller identification information is forwarded to the wireless telephone for presentation to the user of the wireless telephone. Accordingly, the user of the wireless telephone avoids missing telephone calls made to her wireless telephone during the out of service period, and the user may then return the telephone calls at a convenient time.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for remotely securing data in a wireless device. A user sends a data message containing instructions for securing data to a remotely located wireless device. Securing data includes recovering data, purging data, locking the wireless device, and locating the wireless device within a communications network. After the data message is sent, a determination is then made as to whether the wireless device is active in the communications network. If the wireless device is active, the data message is sent to the wireless device. If the wireless device is inactive, the data message is temporarily stored in a database until the wireless device is determined to be active. An application program resident on the wireless device is executed upon receiving the data message to secure the data. The data message also includes instructions for retrieving data for identifying an owner of the wireless device.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for preparing assay samples using a number of microscope slides. Each slide has a number of assay reaction surface locations spaced on the planar surface of the slide. In preferred embodiments, the device comprises, in part, a microscope slide holder that has the exterior dimensions of a SBS standard microplate, such as a 96 well plate. The device accepts conventional microscope slides equipped with sixteen microarray surfaces spaced nine millimeters apart on center, or four for a 96 well plate. Individual chamber plates are placed on top of the slides, creating an individual well above each assay reaction surface location. In preferred embodiments, each assay reaction surface location can comprise a microarray of multiple reactive sites. Thus, parallel processing can be done of samples for genomic or proteomic profiling.
