The first fastening portion further comprises an opening (10) through which the second fastening portion can be threaded and at least one pin (12) projecting inwards from the strap so as to be received in a hole in the second fastening portion. The second fastening portion further comprises at least one pin (14) projecting inwards from the strap so as to be received in a hole in the first fastening portion when the second fastening portion is threaded through the opening and laid on top of the first fastening portion. The first fastening portion further comprises at least one peg (18) projecting outwards from the strap so as to engage in a hole in the second fastening portion.

The OHR sensor comprises a sensing unit (40) including at least one light emitter (42a, 42b) arranged to emit light into the skin of a user and a photodetector (44) arranged to sense light reflected through the skin of the user. The housing (30) comprises a domed portion (60). The sensing unit (40) is exposed through a surface of the domed portion (60) and protrudes above the surface of the domed portion (60).

Abstract: A user interface arrangement for a watch case comprising a display module and a non-conductive substantially transparent cover extending over the display module. The display module comprises a liquid crystal display (LCD) and a backlight. The user interface arrangement further comprise a capacitive sensor arrangement for controlling operation of the backlight in response to a user's touch on outer surface of the cover. The capacitive sensor arrangement comprises a pair of capacitive sensors arranged on opposed sides of the inner surface of the cover and is arranged such that a user must trigger both of the capacitive sensors simultaneously to activate the backlight.

The display arrangement further comprises one or more light emitting devices arranged below the opaque area, wherein the layer comprises a plurality of discontinuities that allows light to be transmitted through the opaque area from the one or more light emitting devices.
