  • Publication number: 20030236156
Abstract: The users weight is distributed evenly between the stomach bench, Multi-position handgrips, and the elbow braces while running or walking in an upright position on the manuel treadmill. Because of this even distribution, stress is diverted away from the ankles, knees, and hips of the user. Therefore lower impact. Lower impact means the user can push heavier than normal leg weights for resistance exercises. Lower impact also means possibilities for physical rehabilitation. Straps attached to the top of the main frame unit of the invention, hold and support the added leg weight bags that can be attached to the users legs. While the user, who is balanced between the stomach bench, multi-position handgrips, and elbow braces, can push the leg weight bags forward, all while in an upright running position.
