  • Patent number: 5372869
Abstract: A decorative moulding is provided to form pre-mitered corners. Two moulding pieces are provided each with both edges cut at a 45.degree. angle. One moulding piece is cut with a 45.degree. angle to the right and the other moulding piece is cut with a 45.degree. angle to the left. By matching up the angled ends of the decorative moulding, either an inside pre-mitered corner or an outside pre-mitered corner can be formed.

  • Patent number: 4490217
Abstract: A stencil plate is made by an electroplating process rather than a steel fabricating process. A resist material and a film were placed upon a matrix and by using conventional photoresist operations, a resist coating is formed on the matrix in the shape of the apertures to be formed in the stencil plate. Metal is electroplated on the upper surface of the matrix and around the shaped resist material forming a stencil plate.Subsequently, another resist coating may be placed over the first plated material and openings are formed in the second resist material. Upon a subsequent plating operation, these openings are filled with a plating material and this provides a color dams structure around the openings in the originally formed stencil plate.

  • Patent number: 4379737
Abstract: A rotary printing screen is made with selected areas being provided with a perforated mesh region through which printing ink may be passed. These mesh areas are provided with a mesh pattern recessed back from the exterior surface of the rotary printing screen so as to permit greater ink deposition thicknesses. The screen is formed by an electro-metal deposition method which provides a basic conventional screen structure. The mesh areas are then masked and an additional deposition of material is provided in the non-mesh areas to build up these areas and, consequently, provide a recessed area in the region of the originally formed mesh design.

  • Patent number: 4184910
Abstract: The invention is directed to a technique for the generation of film negatives which will be used in a chemical etching process to provide a previously etched surface with texturing on the broad, flat areas of a previously etched surface. A rubbing is used to form a basis for a series of photographic negatives which provide an indication of the different levels of texturing.
