    Abstract: A pitcher's motion training system and method are provided The system comprises a target with a top surface at rest in a horizontal position, and a momentary deflection position assumed in response to receiving a towel-strike. A support is included with a base for interfacing with the ground and a height adjustment mechanism. The height adjustment mechanism includes a strut mounted to the base and a telescoping member slideably engageable with the strut. The system further comprises a tensioner interposed between the target and the support. The tensioner creates tension between the target top surface and the support in the deflection position.
