  • Publication number: 20240102378
Abstract: A downhole gauge for recording data during well treatment comprised of an outer housing having pressure ports, and a pressure-tight inner housing wherein a plurality of sensors, a power source, and a memory configured to store measured data are housed. The outer housing consists of a first section having external pressure ports with a spherical outer surface and a cylindrical inner surface with a hollow lattice structure within, and a second half having no ports with a spherical outer surface and a conical inner surface with an internal hollow lattice structure within. The inner housing consists of a cylindrical body comprised of one section having no ports, and a second section having one port wherein a plurality of sensors can be affixed. The inner housing sections are releasably coupled to form a pressure-tight seal. Further, the outer housing sections are releasably coupled and enclose the inner housing therein.

  • Patent number: 9976985
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for detecting, identifying, classifying and/or quantifying chemical species in a gas flow using a micro-fabricated ion filter coupled to a system adapted to apply drive signals to the ion filter. Coupled to the ion filter is a system adapted to measure the output of the ion filter, which in turn is coupled to a system adapted to extract numerical parameters from the measured output of the ion filter to facilitate chemical detection, identification, classification and/or quantification of the gas flow.

  • Patent number: 9677934
Abstract: A method for deriving a background-corrected portion of a measured optical emission spectrum comprising the steps of identifying two or more background correction points from the portion of the measured emission spectrum; deriving a background correction function fitted to the identified background correction points, and applying the background correction function to the portion of the measured emission spectrum so as to produce a background-corrected portion of the emission spectrum, wherein the background correction points are identified from the measured data points by consideration of the gradients between the measured data points.
