Patent number: 11992923Abstract: A fastener-driving tool includes a housing and a workpiece-contacting element movable between a rest position and an activated position. The tool also includes a trigger connected to the housing and movable between a rest position and an activated position, a control valve including an actuating pin, an actuation lever movably connected to the trigger and movable between a rest position and an actuating position adjacent to the actuating pin, and a trigger control mechanism associated with the actuation lever and configured for moving and holding the actuation lever in the actuating position. In a powered mode, the trigger control mechanism causes the-actuation lever to move and remain in the actuating position such that the tool is actuated each time the workpiece-contacting element contacts a workpiece and moves to the activated position causing the actuation lever to contact the actuating pin and initiate an actuation of the tool.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Illinois Tool Works Inc.Inventors: Stephen P. Patent number: 11975812Abstract: A stern drive is for propelling a marine vessel in water. The stern drive has an upper drive unit with a lower mounting surface; a lower gearcase coupled to the lower mounting surface and a trailing end surface that is angled relative to the lower mounting surface; and a propeller shaft extending forwardly from the lower gearcase and being configured to rotate a propeller for pulling the marine vessel in the water. The upper drive unit and the lower gearcase are configured such that when a forward side of the lower gearcase impacts an underwater obstruction, the lower gearcase is caused to pivot relative to the upper drive unit until the trailing end surface impacts the lower mounting surface, which thereby causes the lower gearcase to completely uncouple from the upper drive unit.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2021Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Brunswick CorporationInventors: David J. Publication number: 20150039345Abstract: In generating visualization images to aid with medication organization, a request for one or more medication organizer pages for a patient is received. The request includes a style of the patient's medication organizer. In response, the patient's electronic prescription records are retrieved from one or more prescription databases. Using the electronic prescription records, images for the medications in the prescription records are retrieved from a medication image database. Page layouts for the medication organizer pages are selected based on the style of the patient's medication organizer. The images and prescription information from the electronic prescription records are assembled into the page layout for the medication organizer pages. The medication organizer pages may be returned for displaying or printing.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2014Publication date: February 5, 2015Inventors: Stephen J. MOORE, Vanessa L. WILBURN

Patent number: 5430846Abstract: A data processing system is described, having a buffering mechanism for buffering data between two processes. The buffering mechanism includes a container table consisting of a number of data storage containers, an allocation list indicating which containers are free, and a communication list indicating which containers currently hold data waiting to be read by the recipient. The originator writes data into the first container indicated as free by the allocation list, removing that container from the allocation list and adding that container as the last container on the communication list. The recipient reads data from the first container indicated as in use by the communication list, removing that container from the communication list, and adding that container as the last free container on the allocation list.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 1993Date of Patent: July 4, 1995Assignee: International Computers LimitedInventor: Stephen J. Patent number: 4930834Abstract: A fabric tailgate for a pickup truck which has a cargo carrier with a bed, vertical sides and a front enclosing the bed with an open end, is made by forming a rectangular sheet of material made from plastic fabric having re-enforced edges and a length as long as the pickup truck opening is wide and a height as high as the vertical sides of the pickup. Along the top and outer edges of the fabric tailgate are straps which pass through "U" shaped mounting brackets attached to the upper edge of the open end of the pickup truck. A "C" shaped securing mounting is attached along the bottom edge of the pickup truck. A cylindrical plastic rod is sewn into the hem along the bottom of the fabric tailgate and inserted into the "C" shaped opening of the mounting bracket. The "C" shaped mounting bracket extends along the entire length of the bed of the pickup truck.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 1989Date of Patent: June 5, 1990Inventor: Stephen J. Moore

Patent number: 4635422Abstract: In a series of insulated panel members an interlocking labyrinth seal is provided to minimize the heat loss, the seal having a pair of first slots for receiving a U-shaped clip, a pair of second slots for receiving an offset spacer, and a plurality of right angle flanges for locking the offset spacer into the second slots. Insulated panel members are placed in end-to-end relationship and locked together when the U-shaped clip is inserted into the first slots and retained in position by an undercut slot. Heat loss through the seal is minimized because slots in the spacers expose insulation material into the area where the heat loss can occur.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 1984Date of Patent: January 13, 1987Assignee: Knaack Manufacturing CompanyInventors: William C.
