  • Patent number: 4953854
Abstract: An exercise apparatus is provided for exercising various portions of the body and includes a pair of elongated, flexible and axially spaced multi-strand tension members between whose adjacent ends a center spinner body is mounted, the remote ends of the tension member having hand grips supported therefrom. The spinner body and adjacent ends of the tension members may spin, cyclically, in opposite directions relative to the remote ends of the tension members from which the handles are supported and timed application and release of forces upon the handles to bias the handles away from each is effective to maintain the spinner body in cyclically varying, opposite direction spinning motion.

  • Patent number: 4217378
Abstract: A method is disclosed for producing a decorative and artistic effect on a flat surface, preferably a clear, flat surface, by brushing or spraying a colored coating material, such as paint thereon, placing a sheet of flexible film on the coated surface, pressing in place until the coating dries, and then removing the film to leave a decorative patterned coating. The resultant monoprint can be used as a room divider, lamp shade, window presenting the effect of stained glass, or for other purposes. When a clear, flat surface is used, the monoprint formed can be sprayed with a contrasting color and arranged to present the uncoated side for viewing in use. The flexible film can optionally be initially distorted by application of heat, creasing, or otherwise to produce variations in the decorative or artistic effect.

  • Patent number: 4019744
Abstract: A multiple bingo card for playing up to four bingo games simultaneously while only using a single card therefor. The arrangement of this card is such that what would normally constitute one space on such a card is divided into four quadrants which are color coded with the quadrants of all the other bingo spaces being correspondingly color coded. That is, all of the upper left hand corner quadrants of each conventional bingo space would be of one color, all the lower right corner quadrants being of another color, etc. A marker chip for use with the card may be of neutral or a contrasting color and in the form of a washer-like or doughnut-shaped disc. These discs will permit the color coding of the quadrants of the card as well as the number in the center thereof to be clearly visible. In another embodiment four sets of color coded chips are provided to enable the player to cover the corresponding colored quadrant with corresponding colored chips.
