Abstract: Members of a traveler's social network or “friends” are identified by a social recommendation service. The identified friends may possess knowledge regarding travel information of interest to the traveler. The identification may be based on locations of the friends and/or information of interest, selection criteria provided by the traveler, clickstream data for the friends, the relationship between the friends and the traveler, etc. The social recommendation service may additionally provide the traveler with identifying information enabling the user to communicate with the identified friend(s).

Abstract: A computer software application in the form of a software management and task completion and prediction apparatus by which project completion can be ascertained and management of a project can be maintained with a high efficiency and accuracy. The software application is a web-based application which enables users to proactively manage and accurately predict strategic software development and deliverables. This application and delivery management system comprises distributed data collectors, an application server and a browser interface. The data collectors automatically gather data already being generated by various tools within the organization, such as scheduling, defect tracking, requirements management and software quality tools. This data is constantly being collected and fed into the application server, thereby providing objective and updated information. New tools can be easily added without disrupting operations.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for observing an internal state of an electronic component in an electronic system comprising one or more electronic components. The apparatus consists of an electronic switch, a second electronic component, and a control circuit. The electronic switch can be operated in a first mode or a second mode. A first set of terminals on the electronic switch is connectable, in the first mode, to the first component to intercept both the signals being transmitted to the first component by the electronic system and the signals being transmitted by the first component to the electronic system. The electronic switch produces output signals in response to the intercepted signals and transmits them to the second electronic component. The control circuit causes the electronic switch to switch from the first mode to the second mode. In the second mode, the electronic switch can transmit test signals from the control circuit to the second component.
