Patent number: 11923086Abstract: Provided herein is a digital care circle platform for electronic communication between a senior and virtual care circle members. The digital care circle platform may include a chatbot and an application associated with the senior, a mobile application associated with the plurality of virtual care circle members, at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device, and one or more servers, sensors, wearables, and transceivers. The at least one processor may be configured to: (i) accept event posts from the senior via the chatbot and application and from each virtual care circle member of the plurality of virtual care circle members via the mobile application, (ii) detect pro-active check-ins from the senior, and (iii) generate, once a pro-active check-in is detected, an electronic communication detailing the pro-active check-in as a pro-active check-in event, and transmit the pro-active check-in event to the virtual care circle members.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance CompanyInventors: Stephen Dunstan, Kami LaVallier, Edward P. Publication number: 20100206404Abstract: The invention provides an uncomplicated ball check valve whose components can be economically manufactured, assembled and connected and wherein, in accordance with one aspect of the invention, the ball check valve is configured for use as a pressure vessel. In one embodiment of the invention, the ball check valve comprises a housing defining one or more inlet, an outlet and a passageway therebetween. A ball support system is mounted within the housing, wherein one or more balls are supported by the ball support system. The ball support system is configured to allow a ball to close off and open a respective inlet. The housing generally comprises an inlet section which can have one or more inlets, wherein each inlet defines a ball seat sealingly engageable with a ball for sealing the inlet. The housing further comprises a centre section providing adequate space to allow movement of the ball and an outlet section comprising an outlet for transferring the fluid to a subsequent portion of a piping network.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 8, 2008Publication date: August 19, 2010Inventors: Stephen Morrison, Maria Toth

Publication number: 20020189601Abstract: A system for electronically controlled generation of oxygen and hydrogen gas from an electrolyte. Ambient air is drawn into the system through the air filter and into the inlet hose. The flow of air is caused by the venturi effect of engine intake air passing over the base of the 90 degree induction fitting. The flow of air across the air flow sensor causes the controller to direct power to the chamber power lugs. At the same time, the controller monitors the level of electrolyte in the chamber case. Should the level of electrolyte drop below the upper edge of the process plates, the controller will then cause power to be directed to the reservoir pump to restore electrolyte fluid to a predefined level. In addition to monitoring electrolytic solution level, the controller monitors voltage and amperage across the two chamber power lugs, and the temperature of the electrolytic solution in the process chamber case. This information is stored in the controller and displayed when requested.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 14, 2002Publication date: December 19, 2002Applicant: Concepts Unlimited, Inc.Inventors: Stephen Morrison, Conly Lee

Patent number: 6188367Abstract: A device for positioning an antenna on a vehicle. The device includes a first motor-driven timing belt connected to opposite sides of the antenna frame for rotating the antenna about its elevational axis. A constant force spring or a cam compensates for changes in belt path geometry as the antenna rotates. A second motor-driven timing belt is wrapped around a perimeter of a base plate for rotating the antenna about its azimuth axis. Electrical signals for the antenna and the drive motors are multiplexed and passed through a single coaxial cable in a rotary joint along the axis of azimuth rotation.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 1999Date of Patent: February 13, 2001Assignee: TracStar Systems, Inc.Inventors: Stephen A. Morrison, Chris L. Hadley

Patent number: 5950760Abstract: A scaffolding system for use on an inclined surface, such as inside a ship cargo hold. The scaffolding system includes a scaffold pole and a support bracket that secures the scaffold pole to a support surface. The support bracket is only in place temporarily and is removed once the work is finished. A swivel foot is coupled to the scaffold pole. The swivel foot is configured to pivotally align with the inclined surface. A preventer is attached to the scaffold pole, and uses the support surface to prevent the scaffold pole from sliding along the inclined surface, and to provide additional lateral support.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 1996Date of Patent: September 14, 1999Inventor: Stephen Morrison

Patent number: 4086067Abstract: Improved abrasive articles and methods for manufacturing such articles are disclosed. The articles include porous abrasive grains and abrasive wheels formed from such porous abrasive grains. Non-porous grains are formed from a mixture of abrasive material and burn-out material. Porous grains are formed then by removal of burn-out material when the non-porous grains are fired to form sintered porous abrasive grains. Grinding wheels and the like are then formed from the sintered porous abrasive grains.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1976Date of Patent: April 25, 1978Assignee: International Telephone and Telegraph CorporationInventors: John Folts Busch, Stephen Morrison Freeman
