    Abstract: A system comprising a sensor having a photosensitive element that is adapted to capture images. The system also includes processing logic adapted to determine the probability that the photosensitive element is defective, based on digital values from multiple images. The digital values are associated with the photosensitive element. If the probability exceeds a threshold, the processing logic adjusts a digital value of another image captured using the photosensitive element.
