  • Patent number: 9470740
Abstract: Quality control testing for a batch of electronic modules. A series of tests are performed on manufactured electronic modules, including tests sensitive to the failure rate of previously tested modules. Specifically, a first test comprised of two phases is performed on the module batch. Further screening is then performed responsive to detection of a wire sweep failure in a subset of failed modules from the first test phase. The further screening is on modules that passed the first test phase and excludes modules that failed the first test phase.

  • Patent number: 9433521
Abstract: Distal tips for use with delivery catheters are disclosed that are configured to maintain complete engagement between the distal tip and a distal opening of a sheath component of the delivery catheter so as to prevent separation therebetween and/or to prevent fish-mouthing of a distal leading edge of the sheath component during in vivo use. Distal tips so configured realize one or more of the objectives of safer tracking of the delivery catheter through the vasculature, safe crossing of the delivery catheter through structural components of the vasculature and heart, such as through native valves, and safe removal of the delivery catheter post deployment.

  • Publication number: 20160220363
Abstract: Devices and methods for preparing a transcatheter heart valve system. The device includes a housing, sealing apparatuses and a port. The housing forms a chamber sized to receive a prosthetic valve and a portion of a delivery device. During use, the prosthesis is seated in the chamber, and the sealing apparatuses operated to seal the chamber about the delivery device. Air bubbles in a liquid delivered through the delivery device and to the chamber are removed from the system via the port, thereby flushing the system. Further, the device is manipulated to permit loading of the prosthesis into the delivery device in an air bubble-free environment.

  • Publication number: 20160055197
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for tracking change data in a database. A database, stored at a computer system, is accessed with a plurality of data written to fields in the database, wherein each data in the fields comprises a record header. Data is changed in at least one field of the plurality of data in the database via the computer system, wherein the changing the data changes the record header for the at least one field. A transaction identification (ID) is stored in the record header for each change to the at least one field. A flag is created in the record header signaling the change to the at least one field. Successive versions of the database are linked together such that a subscriber accessing the database can automatically view a current version of the database with the change by accessing the record header and identifying the flag.

  • Publication number: 20150339314
Abstract: Increasing data storage efficiency includes receiving an amendment to a set of data objects. The amendment includes new or changed content relative to an earlier version of the set of data objects. The amendment includes one or more data lookup tables. The set of data objects includes data blocks associated with the data lookup tables. The set of data objects is examined to identify data ranges (e.g., byte ranges) that are not referenced in the set of data lookup tables of the amendment. In data ranges that are identified as not referenced in the data lookup tables, the data is replaced with data that is more compressible (for example, the range may be filled with zero values). The set of data objects may be compacted by compressing data including the identified unreferenced data ranges.
