    Abstract: Disclosed is a solid particulate antiperspirant salt comprising a mixture (or complex) of an enhanced efficacy aluminum-zirconium chlorohydrex-amino acid and a neutralizing salt. The particulate antiperspirant salt, when measured as an aqueous solution at a concentration of 15% by weight at 25° C., has a pH greater than 4.5, preferably about 4.6 to about 5.3. Also disclosed is a topical antiperspirant composition comprising the aforementioned particulate antiperspirant salt and a method of reducing perspiration from human skin by applying the aforementioned antiperspirant composition. In addition, there is disclosed a method of preparing the aforementioned particulate antiperspirant salt.
