Abstract: A map-oriented report-and-response integrated method is provided. The method comprises displaying a multi-dimensional information menu, wherein the multi-dimensional menu has at least a first menu having several organization options, a second menu having several topic options and a third menu having several task options. Further, one of the organization options is selected and one of the topic options is selected. Then, a content of each of the task options is changed according to the selected organization option and the selected topic option. Moreover, a positioning information is received and a map relating to the positioning information is displayed. Also, a report case is established by receiving a positioning report signal including a positioning point from the map. A maintenance work is performed at an actual location corresponding to the positioning point and then an image record of the actual location is recorded and uploaded to relate to the report case.

Abstract: An optical disc system includes a photo detector circuit of an optical disc drive and a signal processing system. The photo detector circuit is configured to generate at least one information-carrying signal from an optical disc assembly. The signal processing system is coupled to the photo detector circuit to obtain from the at least one information-carrying signal both operational information used to operate the optical disc system and data indicative of presence and/or characteristics of an investigational feature associated with the optical disc assembly. Methods and discs for imaging a biological or medical investigational feature are also provided.

Abstract: A high gain lens system for implant into the capsular bag after removal of the natural crystalline lens. A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a combination of a positive or convex lens and a negative or concave lens. These two lenses are spaced from one another and their relative spacing and respective focal lengths determine their combined focal length. When the lens system is inserted into the capsular bag, two opposed haptic flanges on each side, extend toward the inner radial edge of the bag adjacent the ciliary muscles. When the muscles contract, the bag is stretched thereby compressing the haptic flanges together or at least toward one another. This action cause the two lenses to separate further from each other and the increased spacing between the positive and negative lenses shortens the focal length to permit focusing of objects at near distances. On the other hand, when the muscles relax, the bag relaxes also, the haptic flanges separate and the lenses come closer together.
