  • Patent number: 10503942
Abstract: A system is provided for monitoring a data center that includes at least one rack cabinet configured to store at least one computing asset. The system includes a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag attached to the computing asset, where the RFID tag stores inventory data related to the computing asset. The system also includes a plurality of tracking modules disposed inside of the rack cabinet without being physically attached to the computing asset. Each tracking module is adapted to monitor a condition inside of the rack cabinet. At least one of the plurality of tracking modules includes an RFID reader configured to communicate with the RFID tag to obtain the inventory data of the computing asset. The RFID tag and reader maintain a line of sight relative to each other inside of the rack cabinet to minimize metallic interference during communication therebetween.

  • Patent number: 7383978
Abstract: A single blank is provided with four removable sections which are sub-divided by lines of weakening and fold lines. The blank is foldable along a longitudinal line and transverse line to form the four sections into a four layer product. Upon removable from the blank, the four layer product may be manipulated to expose different sub-sections and, thus, provide different pictorial representations depending upon the imaging of the sub-sections. The sub-sections are imaged in a coordinated manner to produce different scenes.

  • Publication number: 20070128560
Abstract: The invention provides a color photographic element comprising at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or a non silver-containing light-insensitive layer, in which at least one of these layers contains a colorless heterocyclic compound having either one or two hetero atoms in the ring or ring system, being other than an imidazole compound, that undergoes less than 10% chemical or redox reaction directly with oxidized developer and which has a partition coefficient to enable the photographic speed of the element to be increased by at least 0.03 stop without increasing granularity, compared to the same element without the compound. The heterocyclic compounds increase speed without a concomitant increase in size of the light-sensitive silver halide grains.

  • Publication number: 20060051710
Abstract: The invention relates to a novel kind of anthranilic acid compound that releases a UG as a function of chemical bond cleavage according to Formula (I): Q-(AAS)-UG where UG is an useful group and is chemically bonded to (AAS); (AAS) is an anthranilic acid switching group; and Q is a group in which the bond to (AAS) is broken so that the -(AAS)-UG fragment subsequently decomposes to the free UG.

  • Publication number: 20050089806
Abstract: A process for making a direct dispersion of a photographically useful material comprising: mixing (i) an aqueous phase and (ii) a liquid organic phase under conditions of shear or turbulence to form a dispersion of the organic phase dispersed in the aqueous phase; wherein the liquid organic phase comprises one or more photographically useful materials and one or more organic solvents having a boiling point of at least 150° C., a molecular weight less than or equal to 300, and a solvatochromic parameter ? value greater than or equal to 0.50, wherein the weight ratio of the sum of the solvents having a boiling point of at least 150° C., a molecular weight less than or equal to 300, and a solvatochromic parameter ? value greater than or equal to 0.50 to the photographically useful materials does not exceed 0.25.

  • Patent number: 5636874
Abstract: To prevent unauthorized duplication of important security documents, an improvement in security or protected documents is disclosed. The security document includes a substrate having top and bottom surfaces where at least one of the surfaces is adapted to carry printed copy thereon. A colored background is printed on at least a portion of one of the surfaces, such as the surface which is adapted to carry printed copy, using a temperature sensitive ink. The security document also includes copy printed on at least a portion of the one of the surfaces adapted to carry printed copy thereon. With these features of construction, the security or protected document contemplates the copy being printed by utilizing a temperature insensitive ink.
