Abstract: An adjustable rehabilitation and exercise device, including a rotary member rotatable about a hub and having an elongated slot defined thereon extending radially relative to the hub, the slot including a plurality of spaced apart and opposed fingers along the length of the slots, with a plurality of gaps defined between the fingers of each side of the slot; and a mount selectively and movably positionable on a selected location on the slot of the rotary member to select an angular location of the mount. The mount includes a sliding member movably positionable along the slot to a selected radial location along the selected slot to select a radial location of the mount relative to the hub of the rotary member.

Abstract: An infusion apparatus for use with standard wine barrels to impart oak characteristics to a wine includes a permeable sleeve member consisting of one or more sleeve sections, each sleeve section containing a plurality of small oak staves, and terminating in a fastener for attachment to the wine barrel bung. The sleeve member sections are inserted through the bung hole of the wine barrel, and fastened to the bung for attachment. This enables the winemaker to achieve an oak extraction level of a new barrel with one load of the infusion sleeve over a reasonable period of time.

Abstract: An infusion tube for use with standard wine barrels to impart oak characteristics to a wine. A quantity of small oak cubes are placed inside a section of perforated tube and the ends of the tube are sealed. The perforated tube is then inserted through the bung hole of the wine barrel, and the bung hole sealed with a bung member. This enables the winemaker to periodically replace the wood cubes by removing the infusion tube through the bung hole, replacing the wood cubes, and re-inserting the infusion tube back into the wine barrel.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for containing a contaminant in the vicinity of a water vehicle. The system comprises a barrier apparatus detachably coupled to the vehicle for operating in a deployed mode to erect a barrier at a perimeter around the vehicle to contain the contaminant, and a deploying subsystem operatively coupled to the barrier apparatus and to the vehicle for transporting the barrier apparatus from the vehicle to the perimeter during the deployed mode. The method comprises storing a barrier apparatus on the vehicle during a stored mode, transporting the barrier apparatus from the vehicle to a perimeter around and spaced from the vehicle during a deployed mode, and erecting a barrier at the perimeter to contain the contaminant.
